What’s on my easel?

I am working every week on a number of different paintings.

So here I will post pictures of what’s currently happening in the studio.

Series: Tidescapes

Another in my series of what the sea leaves on the shoreline. Oil on cotton canvas, 90cms x 90cms.

Tidescapes: Beach real Estate #5

Series ‘Understories’ -‘Landscape of Misery, dissolving to Origins’

Here is the progression of ‘Landscape of Misery, dissolving to Origins’. This painting depicts handmade mud bricks and sandstone decaying back into the ground at the site of a penal colony mining community in Tasmania. It is in beautiful calm, bush land overlooking the cliffs and a bay that at complete odds with its violent and sad history.

Finished Work: Oil on Polycotton canvas, 110cms x 110cms , framed.

A Series on small interactions

Just for fun a small series of 30cm x 30cm oil studies of interactions between people.
